Bar opened April 2002. The idea was to have an upscale steak restaurant
combined with a go-go bar. The restaurant opened and closed twice. It's

with and Aussie flavor ie, ACDC, Angeles, etc. but at least 50% is rap,
techno and metallica. Long time Thunderstruck manager Rady is running

somewhat disappointed that the dancers were not actually dancing. In my
opinion, an animated dance troop is more important that Australian
upholstery cloth, which, the news is, felt just the same under my arse
as the local stuff. Maybe the girls did not like the music: for once,
the selection and its volume seemed to be aimed at the customers rather
than the staff. All in all, a very impressive piece of bar architecture
and I am sure it will make a fine addition. I wonder if all the extra
trimmings ever pay off? Do more people go into Volcano because there is
a dinosaur on the roof? Personally, I would build a nice place with
comfy seats, targeted lighting, good aircon and smoke scrubbers - but
not go overboard on the minutiae of decoration and trim. Remember what
we are really in there for, it ain't to admire the marble mosaics in the
